I’m a Los Angeles based director and editor, with over twenty years experience in the creative fields.
Originally from Australia, I began my career as an actor in Sydney, then New York City. Over time, my curiosity led me behind the scenes, primarily as an editor, and then director. I’ve worked within various genres, styles and mediums; documentary, narrative, digital content, web series, broadcast and online commercials, music videos, comedy sketches and live video museum exhibits. I enjoy the challenge of finding my way through unchartered territory, and have developed a creative versatility as a result.
Some of my commercial clients include Google, Mercedes, Smirnoff, GQ, Ralph Lauren, Vogue, and Moët Hennessy. I’ve also had the good fortune of working extensively within the social impact space, focusing on inspiring narratives for brands, philanthropists, and nonprofits. Among them; The Barack Obama Foundation, Planned Parenthood, Freedom to Marry, and Johnson & Johnson.
As a filmmaker my short films have been selected to screen at festivals across the United States, collecting several awards along the way (see below).
